I picked up the model I will use for the toad in Lost Familiar today and gathered a bunch of reference for elements and backgrounds. I'm tempted to wait until spring to use a real toad (I don't want to buy one because then I will have the responsibility of a toad) but I will be fine with my model and photos to fill in the gaps. Last Thursday I shot the model for one of the main witches. Good model+ good costume = good photos.Iv been thinking a lot of how the environments will be presented. The whole book in fact. Do I want to create a real space or take a more decorative approach? I really don't have to desire to create the space as real spaces go. I also don't want it to be such a departure from the other three in that way. It will be mixed media, or full PS, and that's already a lot.
