After I scanned in the painting yesterday, I realized I wanted to work on the floor to get some texture in and to have the record player to stand out more. If anything went wrong, or it just didn't look good, I still would have the scan. I could have done it digitally but like I have said before, I want to keep the watercolors all traditional. The final will end up with a boarder and am thinking about painting some icons to trail around it; tonal like the magazine portrait. Here was the sketch posted back in September.
