This is a precursor to what I did with the Obama Hope illustration. One jobs technique can have an impact on the next, strengthening the overall effect. That's pretty obvious but sometimes good things can be forgotten or overlooked.
I'm always glad when I can hand write my own type and happily the style worked here. I just wrote something out for Mitchell and Ness for an embroidery illustration that will be print (stitch) really big. Unfortunately, like a lot of my work with them, I wont be able to show it for a year or two. I did a pattern for Adidas last year that I can almost show. I'm really looking forward to it.
