: My final for the Manifest Hope Gallery contest. When I heard about the contest through Hartford (thanks, Q) I was already gathering reference for an Obama piece I wanted to do on the side, so the timing was good. Lets see if the art goes well. Either way, I'm glad I did it. Its in a technique I'm doing more and more of. Looking at it now, it might be too mainstream but I wanted to do something that was simple and, well, mainstream. Something you would see in the 30's, 60's, or 70's but still contemporary.
