I haven't been able to get out painting or sketching this year up to now. But today, I took the Digital Mixed Media class out for plein air sketching at Corbett's Glen. I think everyone enjoyed themselves, and although the lighting wasn't consistently ideal, the rain was cooperative and let some sun shine in. After I walked around with them a while, I settled in for a couple sketches myself. A bunch of them sat by the waterfall which seems like a must if you to the glen. Click sketch to enlarge.

First Plein Air of the Season
