I took a break from painting to sort through and date the last couple years of sketchbooks, mostly by seasons. For some of them I had to go into my artwork archives, where I hold scans of almost everything I paint and draw. I have stopped ripping out pages a while ago, but the last one I did rip out, looking at it now (scan), its not so bad. I throw away a lot of bad art. Who wants that junk around? But may be a good policy would be to sit on it for more than a day. May be some of it
wasn't so terrible. Then why did I toss a book today? Because sometimes crap is crap.
