I finished the second painting for my thesis. I wish I could say that was two paintings but the first one had five(?) generations and the second at least two. They get crumpled up so its hard to keep track. Just want to get it right. At this point it seems best to limit the redo's to no more that two in sucession and to get through all of them before the redos really hit. Had a great time with the Olmstead boarder at Hartford and so am thinking of adding a boarder on these with maybe a insert as well. Now that I say it out loud it sounds like a good idea. I will have to see.
This is one of the experiments, sticking with greys and red. I liked the technique but it dosent work here. May be for something else.
