That first dog was looking at the photo, the second was looking at the photo and the painting and the third dog is looking at neither. When I work on animal logo development its the same process only in a larger scope. Lots of drawing and learning the animal. I was fortunate to work on three national logo projects this summer, one being animal based where many sketches were made for back and forth discussion. Some companies will include these sketches in presentation. There is more to do on this one.
