Ape

Painting this evening lead to this color study. I like the loose color breaking the line. Next step is trying out different application processes. This one was dabbed with my brush rag. I tried balled up tissue which worked well on another ape. Ill also try to couple it with what was going on in the "Owls Also Eat Other Birds" painting, specifically, the orange.
