Working in AI for so many years has conditioned me, I think in a bad way, to want to close every shape. At the same time, illustrative logo development has dictated singular images to grab the eye with essential information. Sometimes things come over nicely between the mediums, sometimes not. The traditional work influences the digital and so the digital work influences the traditional. Not just in technique but in thinking about what the illustration should look like, structurally. That is, how it is built and what visual direction it is commanding.
