The Paint Off in Ithaca went well. I enjoyed the experience and will probably do it again next year if they'll have me. The crowd seemed excited (I was too busy painting to really notice as we had only one hour to complete the painting - no pre sketching) and mostly the kids watched who liked looking through the sketchbook I brought as reference.

See that big pink canvas? That's Jime Grabowski, another Hartford MFA student. She was well received and drew a nice crowd of kids who are her intended audience for her thesis, so good job Jime.
It was my first time in Ithaca and the neighboring town of Trumansburgh where I visited with Q Cassetti and her family who were great hostesses and hosts. Its a short drive from Buffalo and I look forward to going back if schedules sync up.
