I'm not a truck guy although I had a '92 S10 that my father and I put flames on. They were beautiful. He has been pinstriping since before I was born as well as a bodyman for his entire working life, straighting frames and crooking his back. As I drive from place to place, I notice a lot of really big trucks with really nice, clean paint; heavy duty trucks hauling one guy and nothing else. They don't need that power of course but that truck is their island. It probably wont matter how high gas prices get. Weather they need that thing or not they are driving proud. I recently went through the tolls in my Scion XA and the big buy taking my toll says "geez, you really sacrifice style with those little cars". I told him I don't need style, Id rather have the gas money. He actually got mad.
This is about as loose in execution as I dare to get. I tried to make the picture look like an island map. To emphasise that, I added the little islands on the top left.
